CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S IN FULL GATSBY FLAIR AT ARCHERS TORQUAY

Expect clinking glasses, golden-hour glamour, and a night that feels lifted straight from West Egg (minus the mysterious millionaire…or maybe not?) Live music by Tom Pedersen from 9pm. Dress to impress in your best 1920s look and slip straight into the era: polished suits, luxe gowns, and that unmistakable Gatsby confidence. Enjoy the celebration with roaming food an a complimentary glass of sparkling at midnight.

Old Vines & Museum Wines. An Evening with Best's Great Western

Our next Wine Evening is here, and it has been 160 years in the making. This is not just a tasting, but a never to be repeated opportunity to experience Australian wine history, poured directly from some of the country’s most important and historic vines.

Few vineyards can match the legacy of Best’s Great Western, established in 1866 and still home to some of the world’s oldest living Pinot Meunier and Shiraz plantings.

Join 5th Generation Vigneron Hamish Thomson as he guides you through a remarkable lineup: the Old Vine Pinot Meunier (from 160-year-old vines), the Young Vine Pinot Meunier (70 years old vines), and a four-decade horizontal of Bin 0 Shiraz, also sourced from those original 1868 plantings.

Alongside these rare pours, the evening will also feature Best’s CMT Méthode Traditionnelle, the Concongella Blanc (from the 160-year-old nursery block), Foudre Ferment Riesling, and their iconic Sparkling Shiraz.

With only 12 seats available, this intimate tasting promises to be one of the most exclusive and historic wine experiences ever hosted. And one that will never be repeated…

Introducing our newest wine experience: The Winemakers Table… an intimate, dinner party style evening with some of our favourite producers.

We’re kicking this series off with a true local icon… Sierra Reed

Sierra Reed is one of Australia’s most compelling voices in wine, a former model and TV presenter turned self taught winemaker, whose path to the vinergon and winemaker was anything but conventional. Driven by instinct, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, she has worked vintages across the world before settling on our very own Jan Juc, where she now produces limited site driven wines under her ‘Reed Wines’ label. With a focus on purity, texture and storytelling, her wines reflect both place and personality. Every bottle is a reflection of Sierra’s belief that great wine comes from honesty, emotion, and a deep respect for the land.

The Winemakers Table is a more relaxed take on our Wine Evenings, where conversation flows freely, a light supper is enjoyed and plenty of delicious wine is enjoyed!
